Purchase of Australian White Rams at Red Hill Autumn Ram Sale

The Glenowra Australian White Sheep Stud would like to congratulate the Endacott family of the Red Hill Australian White Sheep Stud on their outstanding sale once again! It was great to be a part of their second sale of the year, and we were extremely pleased with the purchase of 5 top-quality flock rams.

The Endacott family broke their on-property ram average at $5500, with a full clearance of all 69 flock rams. It is also of note that all the rams sold were either sired by Tattykeel rams or were of Tattykeel bloodlines. The Glenowra Stud purchase averaged at $6100, with the team bidding against numerous other interested buyers on Auctions Plus.

Nutrien Ag Solutions stock manager John Settree commented that “the quality of the sheep is what sets them apart”. This has been witnessed by the Glenowra team with all Red Hill stock purchased over the years. The Endacott family describe themselves as “the quiet achievers in the Australian White breed, ” which has certainly been evidenced in all dealings with the company.

The Glenowra Australian White Sheep stud plans to join these rams with our Tattykeel maiden ewes, purchased in August 2021. This will assist the Glenowra team to build our elite breed of Australian Whites and achieve our goal to be a leading supplier of lamb to fine dining venues around the world.
