Boxdale Property Addition
Historic ‘Boxdale’ Property
CONDOBOLIN, New South Wales
The Boxdale property was purchased in 2020 to expand the Glenowra Australian White Sheep Stud breeding program. Boxdale is the largest property in the Glenowra family, spanning 12,473 acres and consisting of 37 paddocks, 7 sheds, 4 sheep yards and 3 grain silos.
The property includes four comfortable size homes for staff and their families, plus a guest house, and is only a short 20 minutes’ drive to the broader Condobolin community in NSW. Boxdale also provides close access to key regional sale yards in Forbes and Dubbo.
Water infrastructure and security were critical in the development of Boxdale property and proved to be a key buying factor. The property features 53 dams and 47,000 gallons of rainwater storage. The Carlisle Creek runs through the middle of the property plus there is an abundance of man-made watering points providing high volumes of good quality water for the Australian Whites.
With the Boxdale property purchase, Glenowra Australian Sheep Stud now consists of 8 properties over 30,000 acres throughout the Lachlan Valley River region in NSW, Australia.
